“We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” -Brené Brown
In today’s world, many of us can often feel alone, isolated, and overwhelmed. It takes a lot of courage and strength to reach out for support and connection. I would be honored if you let me support you in navigating these challenging times together. You can expect an authentic safe space to feel heard, validated, and understood.
I have a passion for working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have a special interest in working with young adults facing challenging transitions. Particular areas of focus include:
Social Anxiety
Perfectionism
Attachment Issues
Shame or Guilt
Stage of Life Stressors
Gender and Sexuality
Relationship Stressors
I use a trauma-informed and emotion-focused approach to therapy. I have special training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. EMDR is an evidence-based treatment that is highly successful in helping people heal from trauma and other stressful life experiences. Together, we can focus on finding the right tools and strategies that help you feel more empowered, grounded, and hopeful.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and exploring all of the amazing things Minnesota has to offer. I love going for walks around the many lakes, spending time with family and friends, and de-stressing with a puzzle.
