Welcome! Life definitely brings its unique challenges with some moments feeling tougher to manage than others. Wherever you are on your path, I am here to offer my support. I am passionate about my work with clients, and it is always an honor to listen and hold space for people. I enjoy helping people navigate their journey to feeling better by offering a space for processing, learning strategies and building skills, or simply creating a space to feel heard. People often describe me as down to earth, warm, and genuine. My intention is to create a safe and comfortable environment for you to engage in the therapeutic process.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and holistic. The modalities I often use are solution focused, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness. I believe for therapy to work best there must be a strong therapeutic connection where trust is built. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is a psychotherapy treatment designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories.
I have experience and an interest in working with adolescents 16+ and adults around the following:
Domestic Violence
Life Transitions
Stress
When I am not seeing clients, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, gardening, hiking, or really doing anything outside.
