Feeling exhausted, anxious, irritable, or depressed? That’s okay. It is also okay to reach out for extra support sometimes. My goal is to provide a safe, encouraging, and collaborative environment for you to explore and work through the struggles that you are facing. Whether stemming from childhood experiences or a recent life transition, I will challenge you to shift thinking and behavior patterns that might be keeping you stuck or holding you back. While accountability can feel uncomfortable, it is often a necessary component of growth and change.
"We can have courage, or we can have comfort, but we cannot have both." ~ Brené Brown
It would be my privilege to accompany you on your growth journey. I have experience working with individuals ages 16+ who struggle with:
Insomnia & Sleep Concerns
Anxiety & Stress
Depression & Mood Disorders
Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders
Suicidal thoughts
Shame or guilt
Identity and Self-worth
Life transitions or adjustments
During our work together, I will integrate various therapeutic approaches to best meet your needs. I may incorporate cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and/or person-centered therapy. I tend to emphasize the mind-body connection and the importance of attending to all aspects of the self (emotional-physical-spiritual). I am particularly interested in the impact of sleep on overall well-being and have been trained in cognitive behavior therapy for insomnia (CBT-I).
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, exploring the outdoors, horseback riding, trying unique restaurants and foods, and organizing any and everything. On the days I drink coffee, I might make it through a workout too.
