Oftentimes, life can feel overwhelming and stressful. Seeking out help can feel difficult and even uncomfortable during these times. However, you don’t have to do it alone. My hope is to empower you to make positive changes by collaborating with you to build an environment where you feel safe and understood. I acknowledge that beginning therapy is not an easy feat, and I believe it is vital to create a space where you feel truly heard.
It is my goal to ensure that you feel accepted and supported. I recognize that life paths are different and unique to each individual. I will work with you to set realistic and attainable goals in order to get the most out of therapy. I aim to encourage and work together with you in order to explore the challenges in your life, as well as support you in making positive changes.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and other life stressors. I have a special interest in working with Spanish speaking families, children, and adolescents. I offer psychotherapy in Spanish or English for individuals who are wanting support with the following:
Social anxiety
Life transitions
Relationship issues
Perfectionism
Self-esteem
Life/work balance and burnout
Women’s issues
Recent life stressors
Trauma
Career and work concerns
Identity issues
My approach to therapy is person-centered, holistic, and evidence-based. I integrate the use of Family Systems, Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), and Emotion Focused Therapies. I incorporate cultural humility into my work with clients and have experience working with diverse client populations. It is my intention to provide a space where you feel safe to express yourself while receiving the support and inspiration you need to step into your power to participate in making positive change in your life.
When I’m out of the office, I love spending time with my partner trying a variety of new foods! My self-care includes being in nature and spending time with my family.
