Welcome! I’m so glad you are here!
Deciding to start therapy is an incredible step toward personal growth and wellbeing. Identifying and changing patterns that are deeply ingrained can be challenging and requires a lot of courage. Therapy can be hard work which is why I strongly believe in creating a safe and trusting relationship to help facilitate growth. My intention for therapy is to provide a safe space to explore and work through issues that you may be facing.
I am passionate about helping individuals develop insight and self-awareness so they better understand how to improve their overall wellbeing. My goals in therapy are to help you feel empowered and to make you feelaccepted and supported.
I utilize an integrative, non-judgmental approach to psychotherapy focusing on the collaboration of the counselor and the client. I use a variety of models including person-centered therapy, attachment-focused, acceptance and commitment therapy, and trauma-informed therapies.
I have experience in working with age ranges 6-65 years-old who are wanting support for the following:
Life transitions and changes
Relationship concerns
Attachment issues
Emotional distress/dysregulation
Gender and sexuality exploration
Low self-esteem
