Hi! My name is Maddie. If you’re reading this, that means you have already taken a huge step in your therapeutic journey! Therapy can be really scary, so taking the first step to finding the right therapist for you is something you should be really proud of!

My goal for therapy is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to truly be you. I fully understand the hesitancy to open up about private things to someone you’ve just met, so it’s important to me that you feel comfortable in this space. Being comfortable is essential in building a solid therapeutic relationship, which is incredibly beneficial for therapy and its effectiveness. My goal is to help facilitate and create that space!

Maddie Collelo is a marriage and family therapy practicum student who specializes in sexual concerns and sexual health. She sees couples, families, and individuals.

I am interested in working with adults who are experiencing the following concerns:

I see myself as a collaborative therapist who works with you in achieving the goals you have set for yourself. I am interested in working with individuals, couples, and families of all backgrounds. I am Level 1 certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, which is one of the leading approaches to couples therapy. I am currently working on becoming Level 2 certified. I am a sex positive person and am very passionate about creating a space that reflects that. I am interested in working with individuals and couples who are struggling in all the areas relating to sexual health, sexual orientation, etc.

Outside of therapy, I am spending most of my time with my partner and our two daughters! During the rare moments that I am able to escape from my children, I am either reading a thriller book, catching up with my friends, or hiding out in my room binge watching shows and eating snacks!
