Hi there! I am a dedicated and compassionate provider specializing in the mental health and well-being of children, teens, and young adults. With experience in helping individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and life transitions, I provide a supportive and understanding environment for clients to explore their feelings and develop effective coping strategies.
I have a passion for helping people identify the skills they already have within them and creating new ways to cope with life's challenges. Using a collaborative approach you can improve, empower, and accept yourself! I believe that progress begins with a positive therapeutic relationship and strive to create a safe and warm counseling environment. Seeking help can be a difficult thing, take a moment to give yourself credit for coming this far.
I have experience and a special interest in working with children, teens, and young adults eager to make changes surrounding the following concerns:
Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Behavior Modifications
College Transitions
Family Conflict
Life Transitions
Work/Life Balance
Self-Esteem
Stress
Trained in evidence-based behavioral therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I utilize a dynamic approach tailored to each client's unique needs. They also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and relational interventions to foster resilience, emotional regulation, and positive relationships.
Outside the office, you will likely find me planning my next trip or vacation. I spend as much time as I can with family and close friends, enjoying the warmer months Minnesota has to offer. I am a big sports fan working my way toward visiting all 30 Major League Baseball Stadiums.
